Javonda Robinson, a Georgia peach through and through developed an early love for reading. With encouragement from her parents, a teacher, and a childhood friend, she began to write poetry and found that writing was a great way to see life differently and explore various scenarios without causing trouble. Many of her poems written were about empowering and uplifting people of color.

In college, Javonda began to embrace her twisted sense of humor and at times she wrote poetry demonstrating it. While attending college, educating today’s youth, and raising a family with her husband, she would write sporadically but remained an avid reader. However, while reading she would rewrite the stories and eventually was lovingly dared by her husband to write a book. She took him up on the dare and released her first book in late 2020.
